Becoming a Member

There are five categories of membership. A person can only be a member of one category

  • Category A

    Staff membership: This is ope to all staff currently employed at the school. If a staff member leaves the school their membership ceases but they can request to transfer their membership to another category.

  • Category B

    Parent Membership: This is open to parents of pupils registered at the school. If the child leaves the school this membership ceases but parents can apply for their membership to be transferred to another category.

  • Category C

    Community membership: This is open to members of the community who feel they want to support the co-operative.

  • Category D

    Pupil membership: This is open to all pupil enrolled at the school. If they leave the school their membership ceases but they can request to transfer their membership to another category.

  • Category E

    Other group membership: This is open to other groups.

In all cases when a member leaves the co-operative they are entitled to have their membership share (fee) of £1 returned.
