Year 7: Chloe Myatt & Corey Ginnis-Chiltern
Chloe Myatt – for work in English. We have been exploring William Blake’s poem 'A Poison Tree' in connection with our reading of the text 'Skellig'. The central task was to explore the poem for a hidden meaning as well as its literal meaning. During class Chloe came up with the answer that Blake’s poem was ‘like something written from a dream or a revelation’ - this is a pretty high calibre comment for a Year 7.
Corey Ginnis-Chiltern – did an excellent presentation about Romans in History. Corey baked bread also for the presentation.
Year 8: Kai Degg & Lucy Benson
Kai Degg – excellent contributions to class discussion in History during the 2nd lesson of Industrial Revolution.
Lucy Benson – outstanding effort and attitude in PE lessons.
Jack Pitchford & Tamzyn Brown
Jack Pitchford – hardworking and great attitude and effort levels in Art. Jack is also working hard in History and Maths.
Tamzyn Brown – outstanding effort and attitude in PE lessons. Tamzyn is also working hard in History.
Year 10: Leah Carvell & Ewan Spooner
Leah Carvell – excellent work in Drama.
Ewan Spooner – Over the holidays Ewan produced an excellent piece of homework. He has previously struggled with writing in detail but this was detailed and hit his targets.
Year 11: Tia Moulton & Harry Finlay
Tia Moulton – Has achieved a grade A* for her latest controlled assessment. She put in a lot of time outside of the lesson to make sure it was of a good standard.
Harry Finlay – working hard in Maths. Harry has moved from Set 3 to Set 1 so far this academic year which is down to his hard work.

Zac Smith – for work in Technology. He produced a great 2 point perspective drawing of a winter lodge with very little help.
Millie Howe Jones – Did an excellent presentation about Romans in History.
Maisie Scott-Jones & Megan Rose Wright
Maisie Scott-Jones – has recently moved up a group in History and is trying really hard.
Megan Rose Wright - working hard and has a great attitude in Maths.
Sophie Ann Steele & Jack Cotterill
Sophie Ann Steele – has gained the top score in the maths exam.
Jack Cotterill – great oral work and presentation in History.
Megan Perry & Bethan Moore
Megan Perry - great commitment to learning and progress in Health & Social.
Bethan Moore – great commitment to learning and progress in Health & Social.

Megan Rushton – excellent commitment to Unit 3 controlled assessment preparations in Health & Social Care.
Tom Bloor – excellent manners, politeness and etiquette around school.

Tommy Gilbert – hard work in history and RE. David Benton – brilliant effort and application. Working beyond his target grade and will have this increased. Always applies exceptional levels of effort.
Leah Figel & George Kiernan
Leah Figel – outstanding work in her creative writing in English. George Kiernan – outstanding English literacy homework. Great work in Science.
Rebecca Kearns & Emmie Shaw Peake
Rebecca Kearns – has made a lot of progress in Science and is working hard. Emmie Shaw Peake – work and progress in Geography. Exceptional drafting completed for her Macbeth controlled assessment in English also.

Ben Shepherd – excellent effort, achievement and contribution in Science. Ethan Dale – hard work and effort in Geography.
Year 8: Isabella Clarke & James Cronie
Isabella Clarke – hard work and effort in English. James Cronie – hard work and effort in RE and History. In History James completed and handed in his assessment on Transport and Mrs Robbins was able to use this as an example of how to do it.
Year 9: Nathan Williams & Edward Smith
Nathan Williams – great work in Science, particularly his participation in class discussions. Edward Smith – battled his way through the table tennis team showing great character.
Year 10: Shianne Elks & Jack Redman
Shianne Elks – excellent attitude and effort in Drama. Jack Redman – produced excellent home work in English which was to the best of his ability rather than just getting the job done.
Year 11: Annabelle McKay & Joe Van Marle
Annabelle McKay – making good progress with Health & Social Care Unit 3 controlled assessment. Joe Van Marle – excellent effort and attitude in Drama. Since changing groups in November AD has been very pleased with his change of outlook. He is now demonstrating excellent performance skills, behaves well, applies himself in lessons and is making good progress.
