Exams
We have a reputation for good examination results. These were recognised in the recent Ofsted Report (2010) and occur across the school subjects and ability range.
In 2011 82% of our year 11 pupils secured 5 A*-C GCSE passes (70% including Maths and English). In 2010 81% gained five of the top grades (82% in 2009).
We achieve this through a traditional approach based upon hard work and the development of good attitudes and values. A very high proportion of our pupils continue to further education, higher education and University.
