STB Training School

As a training school we aim to develop high quality professional development for our staff as well as provide support for staff working in other educational establishments. In developing our training school provision we aim to provide a sensible and practical approach to perfomance management, enabling staff to have a greater say in their own development and training than is normal in many schools. A number of our courses are open to staff from other schools and institutions. Do you:- then contact us.

Sir Thomas Boughey High School has a national reputation and has received a number of national awards. It was recently judged as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. In 2009 it was recognsied as a 'Higher Performing Specialist School' and was recognised as a Training School by the TDA. It was one of the first co-operative schools in the UK and is a founder member of the national Schools Co-operative Society which co-ordinates the national network of co-operative schools.
