Ellie Rock & Lucas Jepson
Ellie Rock – Excellent focus and attitude in Drama lessons.
Lucas Jepson – Lucas struggled at first here with homework and behaviour but there has been a change in him. He is working very hard in lessons, he is focussed and on task at all times, doing his homework to the best of his ability, and he is polite and seems really positive about doing well in ICT.
Leah Figiel & Charles Taylor
Leah Figiel – great work in Maths.
Charles Taylor – has had an excellent week in English. He has shown great commitment in preparing for next week’s exam, answering questions during lessons and focussing on the improvement of his writing skills.
Brittany Selwood & Jessica Chell
Brittany Selwood – excellent quality of science homework.
Jessica Chell – excellent effort and quality in Maths.
Louis Martin & Polly Elks
Louis Martin – hard work and effort with the Signal 1 day out. Louis contributed ideas when others were reluctant to speak out; although very nervous he let himself be recorded. He was very excited about the day and feel that he will have gained a lot from the day.
Polly Elks – a positive contribution to food in the early weeks here. Polly is getting on well, she helped cook for a teacher and a buffet in December.
Emily Randle & James Bell
Emily Randle – excellent effort and attitude in ICT.
James Bell – excellent effort in English He has appeared to be more conscientious in the preparation for his Shakespeare assessment. He has asked a number of pertinent questions; especially asking for clarification of some of the written feedback he has been given.

Sophie Gilbert - stepped in at the last minute to take on someone else's part in the Year 7 Christmas concert.

Jack Brown & Luke Campbell
Jack Brown - made up the Chocolate Hamper all by himself.
Luke Campbell - Positive and determined attitude in English. In three lessons this week he has worked extremely conscientiously on every task.
Mark Mason & James Bloor
Mark Mason - demonstrated maturity in English this week. We have been thinking about the historical context of 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' involving some detailed discussions of what happened during the Holocaust.
James Bloor - Improved attitude since Year 8 in RE and History.
Kurtis Kelsall & Milo James
Kurtis Kelsall - he has grown in confidence in English and as a result he has become much more vocal in lessons. His contributions have changed from simple explanations to quite thorough evaluations of 'Of Mice and Men'.
Milo James - outstanding effort in Theory Sport Studies lessons.
Kyle Sullivan & Sam Cotter
Kyle Sullivan - he has changed from being an average achiever in class to a much higher achiever. He reached an A- in his mock examination causing his GCSE target to be increased (English).
