Year 7: Francesca Cope & Chloe Munro
Francesca Cope – citizenship and her positive attitude towards climbing on Fridays after school. Chloe Munro – consistent excellent attitude in Maths showing diligence.
Year 8: Summer Chamberlain & Sharna Jaques
Summer Chamberlain – has organised a week of fund raising for charity starting today running through next week. Sharna Jaques – has shown improvement and progress in Maths.
Year 9: Jack Harley & Lewis Bagnall
Jack Harley – great focus in Geography and is also doing well in RE. Lewis Bagnall – achieved 79% in his History exam and has written a set of moving WW1 letters.
Year 10: Jake Thorley Cole & Brittany Selwood
Jake Thorley Cole – great work and attitude in alternative curriculum and also for his playing in assembly. Brittany Selwood – excellent homework in Maths.
Year 11: Ella Platt & Thomas Mason
Ella Platt – has made more than expected progress in English exam paper. Thomas Mason – has tried very hard to do the higher paper in Geography and has shown sheer endeavour through the exams this week.

Year 7: Amy McKay & Daniel Bailey
Amy McKay – hard work and effort in Maths. Daniel Bailey – hard work and effort in Geography.
Year 8: Nathan Walchester & Rachel Sillitto
Nathan Walchester – has evidence of Level 5 work in Maths. Nathan has also been helping out with the Fairtrade Café. Rachel Sillitto – doing well all round, nomination from Tutor.
Year 9: Shay Green & Angel Allen
Shay Green – fabulous effort and enthusiasm in Media. Angel Allen – making excellent progress in French and did particularly well in the Year 9 exams.
Year 10: Emily Withington Jones & Peter Royall
Emily Withington Jones – has made progress and is on track despite Emily’s absence due to an operation. This is down to Emily’s hard work in every lesson. Peter Royall – for his hard work and attitude in Geography. Parents say that Peter loves Geography and enjoys watching programs outside of school to do with Geography. Peter is also working hard helping with the Fairtrade Café.
Year 11: Maria Richardson & Jade Thornhill
Maria Richardson – effort and hard work in Sports studies in particular towards revision and homework. Jade Thornhill – effort to improve and contribute to class discussions in English.

Year 7: Abbie Flowers & Heidi Simpson
Abbie Flowers – has won the Mad Hatters competition and has been invited to the Civic offices for a presentation next week. Heidi Simpson – JH has looked at Spring Term data and Heidi is a top performer in terms of progress vs expected.
Year 8: Fay Ashley & Archie Doorbar
Fay Ashley – working really hard in Geography and is also this term’s sports personality. Archie Doorbar – working hard in English.
Year 10: Liam Booth & Jake Sant
Liam Booth – in a recent English assessment, Liam achieved the best result in class. As this was on writing, this was quite an achievement for Liam, especially given his handwriting issues. Liam has also been trying very hard over the last week and his report is reflecting this. Jake Sant – Before Christmas Jake was really struggling. Homework was an issue and classwork was lacking in quality and quantity. Over the last few weeks Jake has really worked hard and has ensured he has made up for lost time. The quality of his work has been excellent.
Year 11: Athena Heavey & Daniel Scothern
Athena Heavey – working hard all round. Daniel Scothern – Geography work, attempt to problem solve with complex graphs, using A-Level material in his coursework.
