Year 7: Cain Carvell & Mark Ashton
Cain Carvell – working really hard and is keen to do well in History and English. Mark Ashton – increased level of contribution and effort in Geography.
Year 8: Jordan Wilkes & Samuel Jones
Jordan Wilkes – enthusiasm and great home work in Geography. Samuel Jones – fantastic art work.
Year 9: Witold Malkowski & James Shumilin-Croxton
Witold Malkowski – great improvement with homework over this academic year in Maths. James Shumilin-Croxton – has produced some impressive work so far this year in English. In fact he has had a set movement to reflect the excellent progress he has made.
Year 10: Hollie Keeling & Jasmine Cotterill
Hollie Keeling – A* science ISA. Jasmine Cotterill – A* science ISA and Jasmine has also completed her Health & Social coursework and is taking time to re check it.
Year 11: Emily Humphries & Thomas Jones
Emily Humphries – great work in Maths. Thomas Jones – working really hard in History.

Year 7: Angus McCormack & Miles Litherland
Angus McCormack – at GCSE standard reading in English. Miles Litherland – hard work in Maths.
Year 8: Tamzyn Brown & Connour Ashley
Tamzyn Brown – excellent effort in English. Connour Ashley – persistent effort in Geography growing cress.
Year 9: Rosemary Pedley & Megan Jones
Rosemary Pedley – since starting a new module on globalisation, Rose has been working well, making contributions, lots more effort. This is a contrast with earlier in the year. Megan Jones – represented the school in the North West Science and Technology final.
Year 10: Keinan Culverwell & Lewis Fernyhough
Keinan Culverwell – renewed effort in Geography, improved attendance, homework is now being done, making good progress. Lewis Fernyhough – everything done to an excellent standard in Geography. Consistent high achievement and focus.
Year 11: Lucy Smith & Kyra Wardle
Lucy Smith – work in English Literature is stunning. ST gave Lucy the skills mapping to look at and Lucy came back able to say what she needed to improve on. Kyra Wardle – is pointing Dean Bamsey in the right direction with his History controlled assessment.

Year 7: Richard Dubicki-Clayton & Megan Perry-Smith
Richard Dubicki-Clayton – His written work in Geography is fantastic. On really difficult topics on reasons for being in the EU and migration where others can be childish his thoughts are really sensitive and considerate of others, without being geeky! Megan Perry-Smith – for her performance at the Christmas concert and her effort in Music.
Year 8: Dilara O’Donnell & Harry Brownsword
Dilara O’Donnell – everything she does in Geography goes above and beyond expectations. Harry Brownsword – has moved up a class in Geography, since moving his work has been excellent, trying really hard and has made excellent progress with the food and farming module.
Year 9: Georgia Phillips & Will Bailey
Georgia Phillips – Lost two books in History but spent time of her own accord getting the information to put the two books together again. Although very unorganised the content was excellent. Will Bailey – has responded to advice on his Geography presentation. He has consistently high levels of effort. The content of his written work is always excellent – number of contributions are made. Also for his school council work this week with attendance.
Year 10: Pippa Hamnett & Emma Gibson
Pippa Hamnett – for her attitude baking cakes each week for the Fairtrade café to raise money for the visit to Iceland. Emma Gibson – has put in a lot of effort and tried really hard to improve her presentation and levels of detail in Geography. Emma also bakes cakes each week for the Fairtrade café to raise money for the visit to Iceland.
Year 11: Lilith Johnston& Emily Humphries
Lilith Johnston – excellent progress and attitude in Maths. Emily Humphries – effort and quality of work in Art.
