As a Co-operative Business & Enterprise College one of our aims is to help develop the extensive archive of materials about Co-operatives for use within schools. These resources are kept in various places depending upon their origin and local interest.
National Co-operative Archive, Manchester
This is the national central archive for materials relating to co-operatives. They have an extensive collection.
Local Record Office
Many societies preferred to deposit their materials in local county record offices. These records can vary but may include membership records, accounts and aspects from the history of the society.
