Proposals to establish The Sir Thomas Boughey Co-operative Learning Trust Consultation Details
|
We believe that Sir Thomas Boughey High School has a unique character and ethos that has helped countless numbers of young people develop over the years. To preserve and develop this ethos for future generations Governors propose to 'change the status' of the school into a If approved this new model would still maintain good links with the local authority and area but allow it to become as any other co-opertive a truly member driven organisation. In our case the members of the new 'co-operative' would be our community, parents, staff and local organisations such as local colleges. The consultation begins on 16th November and last until Monday 14th December 2009. The proposals are written in 'legal' terms to ensure that all aspects are covered but if parents or members of the community want further clarification they should contact the school or attend one of the public meetings to consider the issue. We believe that this change is the one we need to adopt to further develop our already highly successful school. Documents:-
