Culpin NET family History Advice

Woodnewton, is a small village in the North of the County of Northamptonshire. My interest stems from my research into family history and the fact that my own ancestors lived and worked in the village for over two hundred years.

This site contains some of the general information I have gathered about Woodnewton.

Woodnewton is a parish of 565 hectares and lies in the area known as the forest of Rockingham. The village layout has changed little since the mid 1700s when a detailed map of the village was constructed. (1777). Essentially a single street the village lies to the north of a small stream the Willow Brook.
