Young Voices 2018

On Thursday 26th January 2018, Harmonize travelled up to Manchester and took part in the Young Voices massed choir event at the MEN arena.

There were 5780 singers in the massed choir from both primary and secondary schools across the country.

They performed songs ranging from ‘Pop go the classics’ including songs such as A Whiter Shade of Pale to ‘Pop Medley’, singing the songs of Ed Sheeran and RagNBone Man to name but a few.

Some of the favourites were ‘Singing Together’, ‘I’m Yours’ and ‘Extraordinary’. The pupils were also treated to performances from the street dance crew “Urban Strides’, Alfie Sheard (Singer/ guitarist), Natalie Williams (singer) and a Scottish acapela group called The Magnets.

All under the expert leadership of Sir David Lawrence, a world renowned conductor who has lead many professional standard choral groups and orchestras world-wide.

Harmonize not only sang their hearts out but they also danced their hearts out and made memories to last a lifetime.

Well Done Harmonize girls.
